📋 How to Transfer Inventory

Seamlessly Transfer Inventory between store locations in ConsignR

1. Go to the Transfers Page — From your ConsignR dashboard, navigate to the Transfers tab on the left sidebar.

2. Click “Create Transfer” In the top-right corner.

3. Select the Origin and Destination location of your transfer.

4. Simply Scan ConsignR Labels into the draft transfer, or Search for variant items.

5. Review your "Manifest" to ensure records are accurate, this is resourceful to print and provide during a Transfer of inventory to ensure communication between stores.

6. Click "Start Transfer" This will set your transfer status to "In-Transit", ensuring that your items are not active within sales-channels while in being transferred to their destination.

7. Upon arrival Mark inventory as "Received" or simply Scan ConsignR Labels upon arrival to automatically mark them as received. This will automatically update their location to the destination.

ConsignR will provide you analytics on items scanned in for receivable, items missing, and unexpected items that were not included within the draft.

8. Click "Complete Transfer"


​9. Print All Labels (Optional) If required by your standards to update labels to have the accurate location included on the label. If the label is inaccurate, the ConsignR QR Code will still be functional and have all accurate information within the portal.

Tips:

  • The transfer must be initiated by the sending party — they’ll create the code and share it with you.

  • Once confirmed, the items will appear in your Inventory list under your store.
