Overview
The consignment workflow within ConsignR allows consignors to drop off items or ship items to stores. This article will detail the differences between the two and what to do for each option.
Drop-off
First select the physical store location you will be dropping off to and change the delivery type to "Drop-off". Add all the items you want to consign and double check over the details.
Afterwards, you must wait for the store to approve of your request. After approval, the address of the store / physical drop off location will be provided to you on the delivery page.
Dropping off inventory at the physical store location often results in faster processing of your items, and you can continue negotiations on the pricing on your items in person as the store performs their final check.
Shipping
First select the physical store location you will be shipping to and change the delivery type to "Shipping". Add all the items you wish to consign and double check over the details.
Afterwards, you must wait for the store to approve of your request. Once the request is approved, you are able to do the following:
Check the Shipping Instructions (If any is provided).
Print the packing slip.
Purchase the shipping label.
Pack the approved items with the packing slip.
Enter the tracking number for both you and the store to see.
Further negotiations and discussion with the store will be done once the items are received by the store. Any items not accepted during the final check will be returned to you accordingly.
